Beaumont Renegades were edged by Albany Firebirds 48 to 66 on Sunday, July 5 at Ford Arena. Kulka kept it close, but Beaumont Renegades could not finish.
Joshua Kulka also rushed for 1 yard and one touchdown on one carry.
Tyrese Chambers caught seven passes for 72 yards and four touchdowns. Carl Robinson completed 15 of 26 passes for 175 yards, throwing two touchdowns and rushed for 18 yards and one touchdown on three carries. Darien Townsend caught seven passes for 89 yards and three touchdowns.
The loss dropped Beaumont Renegades to 3-7 on the season.
