Do I need to install anything?
No. Statside is a website, open it in any browser on the phone, tablet, or laptop you already have. There's nothing to download or update.
Which sports are supported?
Ten: football, arena football (AF1 rules), basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, ice hockey, volleyball, box lacrosse, and field lacrosse, each with its own real stats and leaders.
Can fans see stats without an account?
Yes. Every team gets a public page that updates live, and you can embed a live scoreboard or season stats on your own website with one line of code.
Can more than one person keep stats?
Yes, on the Team plan and up: invite coaches and stat-keepers with role-based access. More than one person can keep the same game, with live sync on play-by-play games.
Is it really free to start?
Yes. Create a team, keep live stats, and share a public page on the free plan. Paid plans add more teams, leagues, and advanced tools.
Can I move off my spreadsheet?
Easily. Paste your roster to import a whole team at once, and let Statside compute the rate stats your spreadsheet was doing by hand.
Does it work without a signal?
Yes. If your connection drops at the field, you keep scoring, every play saves on your phone and syncs automatically the moment you're back online. You can also install Statside to your home screen and open it like an app.
Can I share a graphic of the game?
Yes. From any game's recap you can download a polished scorecard or player-of-the-game graphic, sized for Instagram and X, with milestone callouts like hat tricks and shutouts built in.
Can Statside turn our broadcast into clips?
On the Studio plan, yes. Attach your game's stream and Statside builds highlight clips as it plays, then a 4-5 minute partner reel and a condensed 'Statside 30's' cut of the whole game. AI can surface the best plays and, for play-by-play sports like football, even suggest the score for you to confirm. It's in early access, with fair use up to 8 broadcasts a month.
Does it write up the game?
Yes. Every game gets an auto-written recap of the story and the milestones on its public page, no typing required. Team and league staff can also generate an AI-written narrative version.
Can fans get notified when we go live?
Yes. Fans can follow a team from its public page and get a heads-up by email or web push the moment a game goes live or finishes.
Can we keep our game film here?
Yes, on the Team plan and up. Upload clips or paste a Hudl or YouTube link on your team's Film tab, kept private to your coaches and players. Team includes 25 GB of film storage; Studio includes 100 GB.
Can I export my data?
