Football is the sport that punishes shortcuts, so Statside tracks it the way coaches watch it: one play at a time. You tap each snap, set the down and distance, and the drive builds itself. From those taps, the box score, the scoring summary, and the situational splits assemble without a second entry. No stat sheet to reconcile after the whistle. The signature rate stat is passer rating, computed on the NFL formula with its four capped components: completion percentage, yards per attempt, touchdown rate, and interception rate. Each piece is bounded, so no single wild number runs away with the score. Perfect is 158.3. It rewards the quarterback who completes throws, pushes the ball downfield, finds the end zone, and protects it. Beside it, Statside tracks yards per carry to grade the run game, plus third-down and red-zone conversion rates, the two situations that decide most games.

Entry is built for the sideline. Because the app is play-by-play, the down, drive, and score never drift out of sync. Tap a completion for 12 yards and the passing line, the drive chart, and the field position all move together. High school runs on 12-minute quarters by default; college and up runs on 15. Set the clock once and the game keeps its own time.

A quarterback who clears the qualifying passing threshold lands on the season leaderboard; the ones who stay there pair a high passer rating with clean interception numbers over a full slate of games.
