Arena football runs on the same play-by-play engine as the outdoor game, then rewrites the math. The Deuce, a kickoff that goes through the uprights, puts 2 points on the board for the kicking team. Drop-kicks pay 4 on a field goal and 2 on a PAT, so a made kick isn't just a made kick, it's a scoring decision. Statside knows which points came from where, because on the 8-man indoor field, with 15-minute quarters and a scoreboard that rarely stops, the difference between a 3 and a 4 stacks up fast.

The field is half the size, and Statside measures it that way. Arena play-by-play runs on a 50-yard field: touchbacks come out to the 5, every try is snapped from the 2, a field goal's distance is the yards to the goal line plus 15, and a red-zone trip opens inside the opponent's 20. Third-down and red-zone rates come out of that geometry, not out of an outdoor field with half of it missing.

Entry is built for two-way players. Statside lets you credit the same player on offense and on defense in the same game without cloning him or splitting his line. Mark a kickoff through the uprights and the Deuce's 2 points go to the kicking team, tag a made drop-kick as 4 or 2, and the point value lands correctly the first time. Log it play by play as the quarters fly, live from a phone. The rate stats compute themselves.

Good and great split at the qualifying line. League rate leaderboards only rank players who clear a minimum that grows with their team's schedule: 10 pass attempts per game played for passer rating and completion percentage, 5 carries per game for yards per carry. One loud indoor night can't buy a passer-rating crown. A good quarterback posts numbers. A great one holds the rate across a full slate and still qualifies at the end of it. That's the bar, and Statside enforces it.
