Baseball lives in the box score, and so does Statside. You enter the full batting line for every hitter, AB, R, H, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, BB, SO, SB, HBP, and the full pitching line for every arm, IP, H, ER, BB, K, W, L, SV. Nine innings, one clean grid. No stat is estimated. Log what happened at the plate and on the mound, and the rate math falls out on its own.

The slash line is the sport's fingerprint: AVG/OBP/SLG/OPS, computed the moment you save. Average tells you contact. On-base tells you a hitter who refuses to give the pitcher an out, walks and hit-by-pitches count, not just hits. Slugging weights the extra-base damage, so a double is worth more than a single and a home run more than both. OPS stacks on-base and slugging into one number that rewards the batter who reaches often and hits for power. A hitter with 60 hits in 200 at-bats sits at .300, but 30 walks and 5 HBP push his OBP to .404, and 12 doubles, 2 triples, and 10 homers lift slugging to .530. That is a .934 OPS from a .300 bat.

One entry note that trips up newcomers: innings pitched count in thirds. A pitcher who records 19 outs threw 6.1 IP, six full innings plus one out, not six and one-tenth. Enter it that way and ERA lands correctly. ERA scales earned runs to a nine-inning day: 9 earned over 60.0 IP is a 1.35 mark, because the formula is earned runs times nine, divided by innings.

Good and great split at the leaderboard. Season leaders rank your hitters by the slash line and your pitchers by ERA, and the ERA board enforces a minimum-innings threshold so a reliever with one scoreless inning cannot leapfrog a starter who carried a rotation. Throw enough to qualify, keep the earned runs down, and the number earns the top line.
